1. How can I establish an account with Prestige de Mexico?
We welcome all our customers and are very interested in doing a successful business
with you. ProVent products are only sold to established businesses. Please contact
us in the most convenient way for you: telephone, fax, e-mail or mail and we will send
you a form to fill out and submit. There is certain information about your company that we
need in order to evaluate the best way of doing business together and set up your account
in our information system. This information is confidential. You will receive a written
notification of your account number and may receive a personal visit from one of our sales
specialists.
2. If I need one window, can I buy it directly from you?
All our customers are important to us. We have authorized distributors carefully
selected to give our customers the answer they need to their window requirements. Our
distributors provide local stock for immediate delivery and technical assistance in
installation and product performance. Please contact us by email to receive a list of the
distributors in your area. We will help you get the product and support you need through
the distributor of your choice.
3. What is the minimum order?
Minimum order for established accounts is 400 windows. We are open to discuss any
special volume need you may have. Please contact us for
agreement.
4. How do I place an order?
Purchase orders must be in writing and sent by email or fax. Companies inside the
United States of America, please send your orders to ProVent USA
sales office. Other locations please send to our Corporate
office in Mexico. For a fast an easy order processing, you must include the
following information:
- Purchase order number if available
- Company name
- Account number assigned by Prestige de Mexico
- Quantity, catalog number and price of each item
- Special instructions if necessary (e.g. shipping address or carrier different from
the ones recorded in your file, complete orders shipment, etc.)
5. Whom do we call for technical support?
You may prefer to call your local distributor, they have qualified people that can
provide technical assistance in installation and product performance. In Prestige de Mexico, we are
always ready for assistance, our sales specialists are thoroughly
trained to provide advise in correct product applications and the latest technical
information. Please do not hesitate in contacting us, we will be glad to
help you and provide an answer to your specific request.
6. Where will Prestige de Mexico ship the orders from?
For our customers in the USA, we will choose the most convenient warehouse location to ship
our products: either from our local warehouse in Brownsville, Tx or from our central warehouse
in Guadalajara, Jal.
Other international locations will receive our shipments directly from our manufacturing
plant in Guadalajara, Jalisco via the most convenient carrier.
For Mexican customers, merchandise will be shipped either from our warehouse located in
Mexico City, or from our warehouse located in Guadalajara, Jalisco. We will ship via the least
expensive and most convenient way.
7. Are products palletized?
All truck load orders are correctly palletized ensuring a proper shipping and handling
to destination.
8. What do I need to do to import merchandise shipped from
Mexico?
Importing merchandise into your country is a simple and easy operation. You only need
to have contact with a broker to handle your shipment. Prestige de Mexico will provide him the
original invoice, packing list and Certificate of origin and will ship merchandise through
the carrier selected.
9. Do you pay the freight to my door?
In general, merchandise is shipped freight collect. Freight agreement may be made by
discussion with upper management
10. What is the time from order to receipt on goods?
Your order is processed in our system the same day you send it. You will receive a
written order acknowledgment indicating lead time for every item. Depending on your
company location and the carrier selected, you just have to add transit time to the lead
time indicated in your order.
11. Do you have bar coding on the boxes?
All our products are packed meeting international standards. Each box is individually
labeled indicating Country of origin, Nags #, ProVent part number and the corresponding
bar code to facilitate our customer the correct handling of our products. Should you need
a different bar code system or special labeling, let us know and we will print custom
labels according to your specifications.
12. How do we handle defects?
Prestige de Mexico takes pride in having one of the lowest defective return rates in the
industry. We constantly work to improve our products and packaging. All ProVent products
are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and service.
Should you have a claim for any defective merchandise, contact us
to receive a written return authorization. These returns are subject to inspection and
approval by Prestige de Mexico, and we reserve the option to repair or replace any non-conforming
product.
All returns of defective or damaged merchandise must have prior written authorization,
otherwise the merchandise will be refused. Once authorization has been given, goods must
be returned within 30 days including a copy of original invoice.
13. Do you have a suggested retail price?
One of our principals of success is to provide products with a competitive pricing in
the market place and maintain integrity among our distributors and final customers. A
suggested retail price is indicated in our price list in order to give all our
distributors support in maintaining competitive pricing, so that our final customer can
receive the same pricing level from any distributor he may choose.
14. Do you have an allowance for advertising?
Support our distributors is an important principal for the success of
Prestige de Mexico. We wish to make a joint marketing effort with you.
After a certain period, allowance for advertising is evaluated based on
sales results and business relationship. This allowance has to be
discussed and approved by upper management.
